Web Designer

Our client are looking for an outstandingly creative web designer who would be responsible for maintaining and designing new websites. The main duties of this role will include designing and maintaining multiple websites as well as being responsible for the overall user experience and ensuring that it is user friendly and aligns with the clients brand guidelines. Other duties include project management and keeping up do date with new and emerging technologies or applications which could be integrated in to the business. The candidate would need knowledge and experience of Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Illustrator) as well as experience working with HTML and CSS. Candidates must have experience of programming websites and mobile sites and be able to show a strong portfolio of recent work which demonstrates your skills and experience. All candidates must have a sharp eye for detail as well as a degree in IT or subjects related to the field of web development. This is a full time permanent position for which the client are offering an attractive salary. Hours would be Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm with alternate Saturday mornings. Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus Bank Holidays with and extra days holiday for each year worked - up to 5 years.
