2Nd Line Support Analyst

Based in Spalding, this is a 12 month placement with the potential to become permanent for the right person. Duties are to deliver business facing support for all IT Infrastructure, desktop and laptop computing, mobile and fixed telephony, printing and group business applications. Responsible for delivering 2nd line support services and assisting clients (internal and external) to ensure that service levels are achieved. Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.  Candidates who have experience in  supporting SAP SuccessFactors will have distinct advantage.

The aim is to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible and minimise any adverse effect on business operations, aiming to resolve and control the root causes of incidents caused by errors within the IT infrastructure and applications. Also working to prevent the reoccurrence of these incidents.

Travel to other UK and international sites may be required. Applicants need to have a keen interest in technology, experience of working in an IT support environment, a high degree of technical knowledge in end user computing, mobile and fixed telephony, printers and business applications.

It is desirable if candidates have experience of working within the food industry, understanding of an ITIL environment including Incident, Change and Problem Management. The working hours are 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday on a 3 shift system - 08:00-16:30, 08:30-17:00, 09:30-18:00. Static shifts will be considered. Salary depending on experience.
