Social Media Assistant

Social Media Assistant - Temporary ongoing position for one of our clients based on the outskirts of Spalding. Hours can be flexible, but would need to be a minimum of 3 full working days.

Working for a leading national accommodation and conference agency, you will be responsible for the company's social media accounts. Using LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram you will need to create informative and engaging posts and tweets relevant to fans, followers, clients and member hotels and venues.

You will need to keep the social media calendar up to date and pre-schedule posts relating to national awareness days and industry related trends as well as linking to the company's two digital magazines.

Ideally you should enjoy creative writing as you will need to create regular blog posts featuring the client’s services. Proofreading content such as the digital magazines, blogs and email, ensuing that material is clear, consistent, well written and grammatically correct. Sourcing licensed images and creating visuals to bring your words to life will also be required.

Working in a small marketing team, you should be comfortable working to deadlines, have creative flair and enjoy 'finding a story or angle'. Attention to detail and accuracy will be important as well as keeping abreast with new and changing social media channels.
