Ceremony Coordinator (Admin & Clerical)

Based in central Lincoln - we have a long term, full time, temporary position for an administrator to provide support for the Lincoln Registry Office.  Duties will be to provide a high level of flexible and resilient adminstrative, clerical and associated supportive functions as part of the registration and Celebratory Services including:

  • taking ownership and responsibility for all aspects of booking and co-ordination for a wide range of civil ceremonies;
  • supporting the approved premises licensing process;
  • oversee the receipt and recording of marriage/civil partnership notices, issue of authorities for marriages/civil partnerships;
  • administer Citizenship ceremonies;
  • support the delivery of excellent customer service, ensuring work is completed within agreed standards and timescales.

Candidates will need to have experience of using Windows based packages, have excellent communication skills and have worked in a role previously that has involved customer service, administrative duties and ideally have worked in a role which included dealing with clients/customers face to face and over the telephone.
